If you are using us to process transactions through your website you will need to complete the following tests:

• Create a User within Test MyOpayo
• Process a test transaction through your website to our test system
• Perform a refund on the test transaction you have processed.

These tests are to familiarise yourself with our systems, and the transactional process itself before you start taking actual payments.

The tests also help to highlight any potential issues you may encounter with your integration before you start processing transactions.

After you have completed your testing you will have completed your part in the go live process.

Similar to online payments you are required to complete tests before you can start processing transactions through your account.

With mail order the tests you need to complete are slightly different to the online payment tests:

• Create a User within test MyOpayo
  
• Process a mail order transaction through either test MyOpayo, or through your back end office system to our test platform.
• Perform a refund on the transaction you have processed.

With mail order you are able to use your MyOpayo panel to process transactions, or your own back end office system. This will depend on the way you have integrated your system with us.

If you are using your own system to process transactions and are not sure how to change to our test platform you can perform the test through MyOpayo, or speak with your web developer who will be able to help you with this.

Process a terminal transaction

Before you can use the virtual terminal in MyOpayo you must first have active on your account a mail order telephone order (MOTO) merchant number.

If you do not have a mail order telephone order merchant number on your account you will not be able to process transactions through your MyOpayo.

• Now that you have logged into your account you will be able to select the terminal tab along the top of your MyOpayo.
  
• You will then be able to enter the details of your shopper directly into MyOpayo.
• Now that you are entering the details of your shopper into the terminal screen you are able to enter and amend a number of details for the transaction.
• If your shopper would like to have a different delivery address added to their order you are able to do so. Simply complete the details on the billing address tab, select delivery address and you will then be able to enter the additional address details.
• Alongside adding additional addresses to your order, you are able to change the transaction reference, and implement specific fraud prevention checks.
• By clicking the advanced tab you will be able to make the changes to your transaction reference and fraud checks. Once all of your shoppers personal details have been entered you will only need to enter the card details into the terminal in order to complete the order.

If you would like to process your transaction in another currency you have the option to select from the available currencies from a drop down list next to the amount on the card details screen.

You will only be able to select from currencies that are supported on your Opayo account.

Important - If you do not have a merchant number for the currency you would like to process you will not be able to do so. Opayo will only allow vendors to process transactions in currencies that they have valid merchant numbers available.

After you have entered the card details into the terminal you will now need to select the make payment button.

You have now processed a transaction through your MyOpayo.
 

If you have an Elavon merchant ID, the billing contact on your opayo account can request TIDs in the currency you would like to process.
